Meet the Course Author

Professor Jodi Carrithers, MSN, RNC-NIC

Jodi Carrithers, MSN, RNC-NIC joined the faculty of United University of Nursing in 2022. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from San Diego State University and spent several years in Healthcare Business Development Management before pursuing a career in nursing. Over the last 15 years, Jodi has worked diligently to care for vulnerable patient populations in Pediatrics, with most of those years specializing as a certified registered nurse in Neonatology. During this time, she established an adoration for mentoring and teaching. Jodi earned her MSN from Western Governor’s University to share her passion, teach, and guide the future generation of nurses.
